Lesnar and Minotauro take biggest payouts
In accordance with the rules imposed by the State of Nevada Athletic Commission, the UFC organization released the purse amounts paid to fighters participating in last Saturday’s events. Even though he was just debuting in the octagon and submitted in the first round, Brok Lesnar was the one to take home the biggest check: US$ 250,000.
The new heavyweight champion, Brazilian Rodrigo Minotauro was the second most paid, having received the amount of US$ 200 thousand. Further good news for the fighter from the state of Bahia was that even with the swelling and lacerations on his face, he was not given preventive medical suspension by the Athletic Commission, and is free for his next challenge.
