--While not a done deal as of last night, UFC was set for Chris Leben vs. Michael Bisping for 6/7 in London as one of the replacement fights for the loss of Chuck Liddell from the show. They are hopeful for one more name vs. name fight to be added.
--Tickets are on sale for the Prudential Center in Newark for the Elite XC card on CBS on 5/31. Low price is $25
--There is a story on Matt Lindland running for public office in Oregon at www.sandypost.com/news/story.php?story_id=1208969509283255600
--Last night during the Lakers vs. Denver Nuggets game on TNT, they noted that Denver coach George Karl showed his team some Kimbo Slice fights to inspire them to play better defense. Maybe they could show the Tank fight to inspire them to get into better condition, or the Bo Cantrell fight to teach them how to tap the floor before landing. (thanks to Ben Miller)

--UFC is going back starting a week from tomorrow at doing Friday night taped fights on Spike. They are airing the show headlined by Mike Swick vs. Josh Burkman (wake me up when it's over) a week from tomorrow at 9 p.m.

--The theme of next week's Ultimate Fighter is that Quinton unleashes his Rampage.
--Ricky Shivers, who fought for Rebel Fighting on 3/22, tested positive for steroids Boldenone and Nandrolone and was suspended for one year and fined $2,500.

--The ESPN Page 2 has a story on "Redbelt," the David Mamet movie on MMA, which has in its cast Randy Couture, Dan Inosanto, Gene LeBell, Enson Inoue, Ray Mancini and Frank Trigg

--Hector Lombard, a former Olympian in judo who has signed with Elite XC, fights for Cage Fighting Championships on 5/23 in Sydney, Australia against Fabiano Capoani (thanks to James Stanios)
