--The San Diego Union-Tribune at www.signonsandiego.com/sports/20080404-9999-1s4mma.html has an article on the effects of the CBS deal on MMA. Mark Dion of San Diego, the manager of K.J. Noons, who the article said is no longer on the 5/31 show because EXC wants everyone on the show to sign a long-term deal. Armando Garcia of the California State Athletic Commission believes the talent pool is too shallow for the number of shows in the state. An interesting note is that

--Ultimate Fighter from Wednesday replays tonight on Spike at 11 p.m.

--The Military Channel will be airing three straight nights of top army fighters doing MMA fights 4/14 to 4/16 at 10 p.m.
--This weekend on UFC Wried has Clay Guida vs. Justin James, Diego Sanchez vs. Joe Riggs and B.J. Penn vs. Matt Hughes (thanks to Devin Cutting)
