 Held at the Honda Center, Anaheim California, UFC 76: Knockout sees two fighters returning from just that – knockout losses. Chuck Liddell is looking to bounce back after relinquishing his title to Quinton “Rampage” Jackson whilst “Dean of Mean” Keith Jardine will be looking to stake his claim as a contender for the UFC Light Heavyweight championship. Will “The Iceman” be able to reclaim his winning streak or will Jardine provide further upset to the former king of the Light Heavyweight division? This DVD includes over 90 minutes of special features including: Countdown to UFC 76, weigh-in show, post fight press conference, event slideshow and Behind the Scenes featurette. Live from the sold out Honda Centre, Anahelm, California; UFC 76 features an action packed card. Many well known names are in action and this mixed with some new face to UFC gives a great mix of stand up and ground and pound action, that will keep most Mixed Martial Arts fans several matches to enjoy. This DVD is accompanied by an awesome 90 minute packed bonus DVD, which features UFC 76 countdown to the show, behind the scenes, the weigh in and press conference. Some amazing bouts on this loaded card including several un-televised bouts; the opening bout from the main card was one of the matches of the night for me, Tyson Griffin picked up a judges decision over Thiago Tavares, a great fight which saw Griffin take apart Tavares in each round also defending very well. One of the blood fests of the night was the Forrest Griffin vs. Mauricio Rua match, a UFC vs. PRIDE match and with one of the biggest upsets in recent UFC pay Per View history. Rua was expected to dominate this bout, his style and experience on paper looked like this would be a short technical fight between the brawler Griffin and the technical Rua. I won’t spoil the result of the match. The main event was another shock result and again another awesome battle of (in my opinion) two of the best Light Heavy Weights in the UFC today. Jardine a contestant from The Ultimate Fighter 2 series had a lot to prove and the question is could he take on the veteran of the UFC octagon Chuck Liddell. Lets put it this way, this fight goes down to the wire and will have most fight fans sat on the edge of their seats. Overall this DVD with the Bonus disc is a great bargain and a must for any UFC fan to add to a collection or even a good starting point for a new UFC fan.
